You should not take Somazina   if you are  :

  • Allergic to citicoline, strawberries or any excipient (ponceau 4-R red colour [E-124], potassium sorbate [E-202], propyl parahydroxybenzoate [E-217], methyl parahydroxybenzoate [E-218], citric acid [E-330], sodium citrate [E-331], liquid sorbitol [E-420], glycerol [E-422] and sodium saccharin [E-954])

  • Taking any medication containing meclofenoxate

  • A patient with hypertonia of the parasympathetic nervous system

What are the possible side effects of Somazina  ?

®

Side effects from Somazina   are very rare (<1/10,000) and they include  :

  • Psychiatric disorders: hallucinations 

  • Nervous system disorders: headache, vertigo

  • Vascular disorders: high or low blood pressure

  • Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: shortness of breath or breathlessness

  • Gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, vomiting, occasional diarrhoea

  • Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: blush, hives, skin eruption or rash, purple-coloured spots and patches

  • General disorders and administration site conditions: shiver, oedema

Please talk to your doctor about any side effect that bothers you or persists.

Please consult your doctor if you are  :

  • Under 18 years of age 

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Allergic to acetylsalicylic acid

  • Taking any medication containing levodopa
